Here’s what you will learn:
Day 1: Digital Photography Fundamentals and Guided Practice
(9:00 AM---5:00 PM)
• How to use your camera's settings, dials and menus.
• How to enhance your photography as you learn and practice different camera modes and features.
• How to create more engaging photos by understanding composition, color, texture, and light
• Learn how to shoot in challenging lighting conditions including low and harsh light
• How to prevent motion blur, freeze motion and capture photos you never thought you could
Day 2: Enhance and Refine Your New Photography Skills
(9:00 AM---12:30 PM)
Receive further guided practice and feedback on what you have learned the previous day to enhance and refine your new photography skills, including:
• How to quickly determine what camera settings should be used for particular shots including: portraits, landscapes, close-ups, action shots, night scenes and more.
• Guided practice on capturing captivating images using composition, color, texture, and light
• How to incorporate the art of storytelling into your photography
Your Instructors:
Dr. Abdul K. Sinno along with Rafic and Omar Sinno, three renowned photographers, educators and book authors, will individually coach and instruct you on taking your photography to the next level.
Where: Grand River Center: 500 Bell St, Dubuque, IA 52001 (Platinum Room A). Easy access through second floor of the Grand Harbor Hotel main entrance.
When: Saturday, October 15th 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday, October 16th 9 AM to 1:30 PM
Investment: $279 plus tax. Limited to 12 participants on first-come, first-served basis
